1. Boys—सूटेड बूटेड बनिए पर James Bond बनने की जरूरत नहीं
UPSC इंटरव्यू कोई रैम्प शो नहीं है।
- Light-colored shirt (white/sky blue)
- Dark formal trousers
- Simple tie (aisa nahi jo Holi का leftover लगे)
- Black or brown polished shoes
Avoid:
- Red shiny shirt (Panel आपके confidence से ज्यादा आपकी चमक देखकर confuse हो जाएगा)
- Sports shoes (भाई, इंटरव्यू है, मैराथन नहीं)
- Perfume इतना strong ना हो कि panel की आंखों में पानी आ जाए
2. Girls—Graceful, Simple, Smart Look हमेशा जीतता है
आप IAS बनने जा रही हैं, fashion influencer नहीं—so keep it classy.
- Cotton/silk saree in pastel or subtle colours
- Simple salwar suit, no heavy embroidery
- Minimal jewellery (jhumke ऐसे ना हों कि panel को ऐसा लगे शादी में आई हैं)
- Clean bun or simple ponytail
Avoid:
- Heavy makeup (UPSC panel blush से नहीं, brain से प्रभावित होता है)
- Loud colours
- Sandals without back strap
3. Grooming Matters—कपड़े clean हों वरना impression धुलकर चला जाएगा
- Nails trimmed
- Hair tidy
- Ironed clothes
- Shoes polished
- No flashy watches

बस:
- Interview call letter
- Certificates
